Toasted Panettone With Nectarines

peach jam

½

cup

water

orange juice

yellow nectarines; halved, seeded

sliced panettone

½

cup

thickened cream; whipped lightly

Combine the jam and water in a small saucepan. Stir over a low heat until the jam is melted. Simmer, uncovered, for 2 minutes; stir in the liqueur.

Place nectarines in a medium bowl, add the jam mixture and stir gently.

Toast the panettone slices and serve topped with the nectarine mixture and thick cream.

Untoasted panettone suitable to freeze. Jam mixture suitable to microwave.
